How it works
Parents
Securely log in to your school’s customized School Dismissal Manager website and assign another parent or relative to pick up their children ONLY when there is a change to the norm. Parents can also communicate if their child will be taking a different bus, staying after school, walking home or schedule a playdate (with bidirectional email confirmation between the parents) ALL noted on your Daily Dismissal Report.
School Administrators:
Each day, just prior to dismissal, School Dismissal Manager will automatically send you an up-to-the-minute dismissal assignment report via email. Last minute scrambles for both parents and school staff are avoided and the safety of every student is ensured.
Reach parents via text message! School Dismissal Manager comes equipped with a powerful email and text messaging alert feature. Send instantaneous email or text alerts concerning emergencies, school delays, closures, sports cancellations, child illnesses, etc., directly to parents' cell phones.
Bus Capacity Manager. As dismissal changes are made by parents, School Dismissal Manager will interface with your school’s internal information system to track absences, as well as which child will be on which bus, and that bus’ capacity. Your school will be alerted immediately via email to address any overcapacity situation.
Carpool & Playdate Organizer. School Dismissal Manager's Carpool and Playdate tools allow parents to easily schedule after-school playdates and carpools with other parents. Details will be incorporated into your daily dismissal report, and are integrated with the Bus Capacity Manager.
